The Manager of Mariéme D Hair, Mariéme Diallo, is on a mission. To create a top class professionally run salon in the heart of Essex. Her career includes participation in the Black Beauty/Sensational Hair Award in 2015, images of which can be seen in the pro gallery. Led by Mariéme, the salon has also been a finalist at the prestigious Mizani colour trophy in 2015. Mariéme’s work has also been featured in Black Hair magazine and Black Beauty, which is recognition of how great a stylist she is.
Her passion and enthusiasm for creating fantastic hairstyles has remained the same since she started out her career in hairdressing over 20 years ago and her dream of running her own business has not altered. When you enter the salon for the first time you will experience the overwhelming joy she feels towards her job. She simply loves what she does and her passion is contagious! |
By the end of your appointment (whilst admiring your incredible hair!) it will be easy for you to believe that you had just visited a salon in the centre of London; without the London price tag. The atmosphere is professional, yet relaxed and all staff exude Mariéme’s outlook - they too love their job and take pride in their work and knowledge about all things hair.
Mariéme has managed the salon for nine years now and has built up an excellent clientele that travels from all over London for the exceptional service. The salon has recently been refurbished and a new client booking system introduced. This allows staff to enter hair details of a client and track progress of the treatments. The aim? To give each client the best service possible on every visit.
Missing an appointment will never happen as you’ll receive a personalised text and email the day before, gently reminding you that your presence will be expected the following day. It’s touches like these that set Mariéme D Hair apart from the usual Black and European hairdressers. In the coming months she wants to introduce further innovative ideas to give her customers the best hair treatments they could ask for.
